Ariel Arce

Sommelier and restaurateur, Ariel Arce, is our kind of friend. She loves pouring wine--especially Champagne--and she loves spinning vinyl. Ariel owns two super fun NYC jewel boxes, Air’s Champagne Parlor and Tokyo Record Bar, and she provided us a playlist perfect for popping a bottle with friends.

“I like a playlist that has a start, a middle and an end,” Ariel says. “I love to play with a lot of genres and time periods and stay with a common beat. I love blues, soul, funk, and classic rock so my playlists generally pull from those genres. This is just a collection of some tunes I can always listen to.”

The start of the list: “Hold the Line” by Toto

The middle: “To Be Young (Is to Be Sad, Is to Be High)” by Ryan Adams

The end: “Brass in Pocket” by The Pretenders
